SURVIVAL OFFSHORE TRAINING


Survival Offshore Training was established in May 2009 in order to provide a cost-effective offshore training facility on the West Coast of South Africa.
The company in conjuction with its affliat Project Maritime Training is registered with the following institutes/organizations:

  • OPITO
     
  • Department of Labour
     
  • TETA (Transport Education Training Authority) 
     
  • South African Maritime Safety Authority STCW approved courses.

PROJECT MARITIME YOUTH

Project Maritime Training founded Project Maritime Youth that educates the youth of the fishing communities in the West Coast.
The units are based in Cape Town and Saldanha. In addition with the local Department of Labour novices identified by the Department are placed on pre sea training courses as part of the company\'s social responsibility programme.
For every ten novices sent on training one Previously Disadvantaged Individual (PDI) is incorporated.
Survival Offshore Training is assisting PMT with the youth programme
