Overview
The Basic H2S Training are to ensure that the delegate gains the required knowledge and understanding of the particular hazards and properties of H2S, and appropriate emergency response actions to take should an H2S related incident arise.

Course Structure
Delegates are introduced to IMIST training via interactive live online learning software.
IMIST is currently available in 10 languages; American and UK English, Arabic, Hindi, Bahasa Malaysian, French, Vietnamese, Thai, Indonesian and Russian

Prerequisites
Delegates must be at least 16 years of age.
Target Audience
The H2S training programme is for personnel that are or could be, working in an environment that could become contaminated by H2S gas
Certification
An OPITO-approved Basic H2S certificate will be issued on successful completion of the course.

Items to bring
- Delegates must present photographic ID at the start of the course. Accepted forms are government issued photographic identification, eg passport or identity document
- Regonised in Date Medical Certificate
- All delegates must bring swimwear and a towel.
Health
Due to certain aspects of the course being physically demanding and potentially stressful, delegates will be required to confirm their medical fitness & physical ability to participate on the practical elements of the course by completing our centre medical self-screening form prior to commencing practical training
